The Daily Colonial has a Supernatural Mention in their "Give These Shows Season A Chance" Article

(Supernatural's Mention)

Supernatural, which premiered last night, airs in one of the most competitive time slots on network T.V. - 9 p.m. Thursday, opposite such powerhouse shows as The Office and Grey’s Anatomy. Though it might sound hopelessly hokey, Supernatural is actually worth the viewers’ time. It boasts a strange combination of elements that somehow work well together - think low-budget horror movie crossed with an epic American road trip, featuring a complex relationship between two brothers, all set to a classic-rock soundtrack.

Yes, the plot is focused on two brothers who travel the country fighting supernatural evil—ghosts, demons, possessed monster trucks, and the like. At first, you may simply be amused by the bad-scary-movie quality of it all. But along the way, you’ll be captivated by the acting (and the very good looks) of the two leads; the relationship between Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) is always convincing and often very funny and moving. A suspension of your disbelief is definitely necessary, especially if, like myself, you are not exactly a sci-fi fan. However, the show explores universal emotions and relationships, and it manages to strike a great balance between the self-aware, cheesy horror movie and convincing familial drama.
